Bang noted: "When we actually sat down to sign the contract, it was just us and the members."
He explained: "Koreans usually avoid bringing in legal counsel when dealing with people they are close with, perhaps because they believe it is poor manners to do so. We always advise our members to consult lawyers and other experts, but I don't know if any such consultations took place."
The BTS members re-signed with Big Hit in October 2018, extending their contracts for another seven years.
